Biography

Son of George Andrew Romero and Anne Dvorsky

Husband of Nancy Jane (maiden name unknown)

Husband of Christine Forrest

Husband Suzanne Desrocher

His 1968 black and white movie "Night of the Living Dead" was considered by many to have set the tone for future horror movies yet to come, and he was considered to have been the father of the modern zombie movie. His graphic depiction of shocking images of the undead eating their victims, sometimes still alive and screaming, was the pattern for many successful horror movies that would come later.
