Margaret de Ros was born about 1400, Belvoir, Leicestershire, England, daughter of Sir William de Ros (born 1368, Helmsley, Yorkshire, England; died 1 September 1414, Belvoir, Leicestershire, England), Lord Ros, Knight, Treasurer of England and Margaret Fitz Alan (born about 9 Oct 1394), daughter of Sir John Fitz Alan, Marshal of England, Lord Arundel and Maltravers, and his wife Eleanor Maltravers. She married Lord Audley in 1415; she died after 1423.[1]
Born circa 1400 at of Helmsley, Yorkshire, England,3 Margaret de Ros and Sir James Touchet, 5th Lord Audley, Chief Justice & Chamberlain of South Wales obtained a marriage license on 24 February 1415; Date of Papal Dispensation for being related in the 3rd and 4th degrees of kindred.[2]
They had 1 son (Sir John, 6th Lord Audley) and 2 daughter (Anne, wife of Sir Thomas Dutton; & Elizabeth, wife of Edward Brooke, 6th Lord Cobham).[3] Margaret Roos died between September 1423 and 14 February 1430 at of Markeaton, Derbyshire, England.[4][2]
