I want to check this out more thoroughly before merging. Meanwhile, a slight problem: Wikitree interprets the person as "son of" & "brother of", I guess because the name is spelled Francis with an "i". However, I have often found old documentation of other females whose name was spelled "Francis" - contrary to the present-day convention of writing "Frances". How do we fix that?

I'm not sure that I'm seeing the same thing. Frances is female in WikiTree, as far as I can tell, irrespective of the spelling. (Yes, I too have seen it spelled both ways for females).

The problem has disappeared since the merge. It occurred in the duplicate.

Rose-16823 and Rose-1952 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, dates, bio matches
