Biography

According to Fretz, his first name was Elias, he was generally known by Yellis, and “in the old deeds” known by Julius.

Yellis was born before 1735. He passed away about 1808. ^[1]

Fretz makes no mention of his wife, although listing four children: Benjamin, Henry, Anna, and Rebecca.
