Biography
Hugh (Elihu) Scott Ross was born in December 1843 in Cabell, West Virginia, his father, Robert, was 28 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 30. He married Susan Mitchell in 1872. They had four children during their marriage. He died on November 30, 1907, in Huntington, West Virginia, at the age of 63, and was buried in USA.
