Ross-12598 and Ross-4419 appear to represent the same person because: Same dates & children's names. This John is said to have married Sarah Jackson in New Jersey, but her name in all of the records in North Carolina is Mary.

Ross-10567 and Ross-4419 appear to represent the same person because: This John Ross was connected as the son of James Ross & Mary Woods, as he often is.

The match I suggested he be merged to is also the John Ross, said to have married Sarah Jackson, who is often connected as the son of James Ross & Mary Woods.

I actually disconnected him from those parents because Y-DNA testing is now saying that they are not his parents, but he still needs to be merged with the original John Ross profile.

#1, I just have not added the other children of this marriage.

There seem to be 2 different John Rosses here.

1. John Ross who left a Will dated 19 April 1791 in Guilford County, NC. The Will mentions 6 children, not just a single son as mentioned in this profile.

2. John Ross who died September 20, 1806 and is buried in Metuchen, New Jersey.

Which one was married to Sarah Jackson on 20 June 1759 in Middlesex County, New Jersey?

Ross-16251 and Ross-4419 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same spouse, same dom. Death info needs to be resolved. Please merge.
