Occupation: Labourer, Blacksmith

Greensburg Daily News Tuesday, March 11, 1941 James Elmer Ruddell, 79, for over half a century a blacksmith at Sandusky and widely known in Decatur and southern Rush counties, passed away at the Methodist hospital at Indianapolis at 5:30 p.m. Monday. Mr. Ruddell had been in failing health for th past six months. He had been seriously ill for three weeks.

Burial: Layton Cemetery, Milroy, Rush, IN
