Mary 'Patricia' Rudy was born on 2 July 1914 in Selkirk, Manitoba. She was the daughter of Isaiah Rudy and Elsie May Kesselring. The family lived in Bredenbury and Preeceville before moving to Jansen, Saskatchewan in 1941. She married William John Loughran of Bredenbury, Manitoba in 1941 in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. They lived in Bredenbury and later moved to Wynyard, Saskatchewan. They had two sons and two daughters.
Patricia 'Pat' had received her associate degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music and taught piano and theory for many years.
Patricia passed away in Wynyard on 21 September 1994 and was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Wynyard, Saskatchewan.
