Frances Rugge (sometimes misspelt Repps) was the daughter of William Rugge and Thomasine Townsend-Rugge. Frances was born in Felmingham, Norfolk, England in c.1561.

Frances 1st married Edward Cromwell, 3rd Baron Cromwell ^[1].
She then became Lady Frances Cromwell.

After Edward Cromwell died on 27th April, 1697, Lady Frances Cromwell married Hon. Richard Wingfield, 1st Viscount Powerscourt. They lived on the Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Northern Ireland.
She died at the Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Northern Ireland on the 30th November, 1631.
Her second husband, Richard Wingfield, ^[2] died on the 9th September 1634, almost three years after she did.
Since they had no sons to inherit the title it became extinct.
