At this time it is uncertain what year Hannah was born but it was likely between 1827-1835 based on census records. On the 1850 Census her birth year is estimated to be 1827, on the 1860 Census the year of 1835 is listed and on the 1880 Census the year of 1830 is listed.
On both: the 1850 Census[1] and the 1860 Census[2]; Hannah is living with her parents in Washington County, Virginia. At this time she has not been located on an 1870 Census report (record needed).
On both: the 1880 Census[3] and the 1900 Census[4] she is listed in the home of her sister; Sarah Ellen Rush Gentry and her brother-in-law Miles Gentry.
It is believed that Hannah was never married but more research is needed.
