Ephraim Rushing , Sr. Born: 1798 - SC Marr: 1824 - Millie Ann Thornhill Died: FEB 1854 - Old Pike County, Walthall, MS

Ephraim Rushing purchased Cullen Conerly's plantation near the Conerly mills (Tylertown) around 1852[1]

Birth: 1798 South Carolina, USA Death: Feb., 1854 Pike County Mississippi, USA

Son of Matthew Rushing and Sarah Howell. Brother to Jack "Claiborne" Rushing also buried here in Founders Cemetery. Ephriam married Milly Ann Thornhill (1808 - 1893), and they had thirteen children.
