On August 21, I proposed a merge of Chabot-189 with Chabot-253. Chabot-189's privacy setting prevented the merge from receiving default approval after 30 days. In the spirit of collaboration, as required by our Honor Code, I respectfully ask that you do one of the following: - Approve and complete the merge. As long as one profile is not Open, only a member of both Trusted Lists can complete the merge. That's you. - Add me to the Trusted List of both profiles, and I will complete the merge then remove myself from both Trusted Lists. - Change this profile to Open privacy, to allow for default approval and completion of the merge by any member. - Provide reasons and sources showing why these two profiles do not represent the same person. Please tell me if Noel Therrien-108 is a living person. The profile is locked. My ancestor is Noel Therrien born about 1575 in France. Thanks for approving the Viger merge ... not sure how I missed that when I created mine. Anyway, mine needs to be merged into yours (yours is the lower number) but mine is Project Protected ... so, I've put in a G2G request to have that undone so the merge can continue. Hopefully that will happen soon as I'll be gone for a week starting Saturday ... If I'm gone you can certainly complete the merge if you want ...

Hi Theresa. In response to your comment on my page, I understand your frustration. It takes a while to get used to the collaborative nature of Wikitree. Ancestry.com is fun and easy and no one is looking over your shoulder. Be careful on Ancestry.com. I used Ancestry for years and it has advantages and disadvantages. It is very easy to grow your tree there but it is also very easy to bring in mistakes. I found many many errors there. The advantage at Wikitree is someone may help us correct those mistakes. If the objective is to grow your tree, Ancestry is great. If the objective is to accurately document your ancestry, Wikitree is great. My advice: Don't trust information without sources, and compare dates carefully to see if they make sense. Good luck and I hope you stay with Wikitree.

Do you have valid sources for the marriage of Delphine Cloutier (Cloutier-522) with Joseph Dubé (Dubé-529) ? Joseph Dubé died in 1787. Removed wrong marriage link.
