Biography

Bernardo Salemi is a Corleone native resident, the son of Vincenzo Salemi and Caterina Dragna, who married in 1766.

Bernardo marries Anna Paternostro, daughter of Biagio Paternostro and Giuseppa Buccheri, on 23 January 1791.[1]

Bernardo and Anna have at least three children: Maria (c. 1792), Vincenza (c. 1794), and Caterina (c. 1813).

Maria marries Andrea Carrabba on 12 April 1812.[2]

Vincenza marries Giuseppe Campagna on 6 February 1814.[3]

Anna dies at the reported age of 60 in Corleone on 6 January 1832. Bernardo has predeceased her.[4]

Caterina marries at least twice, first to Giuseppe Cipolla, on 10 February 1833. Her parents have died by this time.[5]

Caterina remarries to Calogero Mirabile, a widower, on 6 December 1846.[6]
