Daniel Sanborn was born on 19 May 1721 in Hampton, New Hampshire. His parents were Abner Sanborn and Rachel (Shaw) Sanborn.[1].
He married Jane Moulton on 2 December 1746, and they moved to Standish (then called Pearsontown) in 1763. They had ten children:[1]

3. Jane, baptized 26 May 1751
4. Jeremiah, baptized 25 Mar 1753
5. Molly, baptized 22 Dec 1754; married Thaddeus Richardson
6. Dorothy "Dolly", born May 10, 1757; married Theodore Mussey
7. Simeon, born 5 Jul 1759; married Hannah Ward
8. Ebenezer, born 5 Jul 1759; died young
10. Eunice, DOB unknown; possibly died young
Daniel was a carpenter by trade. He passed away on 14 January 1786 in Standish.[1]
