John Sandidge was born in 1781 in Virginia. His parents were Larkin Sandidge and Mary Ann Vaughan. He married Patience Coleman on January 22, 1803 Together they had 4 children:

  1. Wyatt Sandidge
  2. Daniel Sandidge
  3. Joshua Sandidge
  4. James Sandidge

He died on March 27, 1863 in Kentucky.[1]
