Biography

Fitz William Sargent was born on 17 January 1820 in Newbury, Massachusetts. His parents were Winthrop and Emily Sargent[1]

His parents, Winthrop Sargent and Emily Haskell, were married in Newton, Massachusetts, on 1 May 1814[2].

Fitzwilliam Sargent was an eye surgeon[3] and worked in Philadelphia in the 1850s[4].
