For Sarah Satterley and all the Hallocks of Setauket, do not use "Long Island City" as place of marriage or any other event. "Long Island" is fine if you don't have exact town, but "Long Island City" is a specific place about 60 miles from Setauket and did not even exist as a place name in the 17th century.
