Research Notes
Residence
Ireland
It is difficult to find an exact address. The father was a farm laborer and the family seems to have moved between Causeway, Dromkeen, and Ballynorig[1] and other locations.
Immigration
Ellis Island records indicate that Debbie immigrated in 1894[3], destined for Washington, D.C. In 1900 we see her working as a house servant[5] even though she reported in 1920[6] that she immigrated in 1900. As of 1920, she is not listed as being naturalized but it possibly did occur between then and her death.

Death
Debbie died on 5 Jul 1951.[4][9][10] and was buried two days later at Mt. Olivet, Washington, D.C. (with her younger sister Ellen "Nellie" in sec 58, lot 712)[11]. Neither her nor Nellie's birth years are correct.
Deborah's Virginia Certificate of Death[4] lists her as a widow but there is no known evidence of a husband. The 1900,[5]1920, [6]1930,[7] and 1940[8] censuses all list her as single. No 1910 census has been found under her name - at least not her maiden name.
