Biography

Birth and Parents

Helen Savage was born about 1454.[1]

Ellen Savage was the daughter of Sir John Savage of Clifton, kt. [2]

Ellen was born in 1425. She is the daughter of John Savage and Eleanor Brereton.

Marriage to Sir Piers Warburton

Ellen married Sir Piers Warburton as his second wife.

Peter Warburton had a dispensation from Pope Paul II to marry Ellen, daughter of Sir John Savage, of Clifton, to whom he was related in the third degree, a contract for marriage with Alice, Mainwaring, of Over Peover, being first dissolved. [3]

Sir Piers Warburton was born circa 1413, the daughter of Sir Geoffry Warburton, Seneschal of Hlton, and Helen Bruyn, born c. 1390. [1]

Sir Piers Warburton was the son of Sir Geoffrey Warburton of Warburton and his wife Ellen, sister of John Bruyn of Tarvin, who remarried to Henry Legh of East Hall, Esquire, and to Ralph Grosvenor. [2]

The Visitation of Cheshire, however, shows Sir Piers Warburton as the son of Sir Geofrrey de Warburton and his wife Beatrice, daughter to Piers Dutton of Dutton. [4]

Piers Warburton, of Warburton and Arley, esq, was seneschal of Halton and called "Wise Piers". [2]

Sir Piers Warburton died circa 1495. [5] [6] [7]

Piers Warburton died in or about 20 Henry VI (1495). [2]

Birth date of 1425 (vs. 1454) fits better with birth dates given elsewhere for Blanche and Dowce/Douse.

I can find absolutely no online reference for a "Bewgenett, Suffolk, England." Please check your spelling.

Savage-2693 and Savage-108 appear to represent the same person because: wife of Peter/Piers Warburton; mother of Blanche who married Daniel/Daniels.
