Biography

Alfred Savard was born in Quebec, Canada in 1871. He was christened at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs, Riviere du Loup in Quebec on March 16, 1871. Alfred married Aurelie Pitre on September 8, 1890 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Alfred and Aurelie had three children: Albertine, Valmar and Alida. They had one still born child. Eventually, Alfred and Aurelie moved from Canada to the United States. The family lived in Massachusetts with a nephew, George Grondine, according to census records. Alfred served in the military and also held jobs that involved machinery. According to his obituary, Alfred died while visiting his mother in Quebec, Canada. Alfred Savard died in 1921.
