Death

Death: Details of her death are unknown. She may have predeceased her husband, as she is not mentioned in the administration of his estate. There is, however, a marriage of an Elizabeth Perkins on 9 Jun 1612 in Hillmorton to Thomas Compton, a known close associate of her late husband (his wife had passed away at the end of 1610 after delivering twins) and possible second cousin of his. It is highly likely that she remarried after Henry's death. If this is the case, there are two possibilities for her burial in the Hillmorton registers - 5 Nov 1636 or 8 May 1643 (neither entry gives more information than just the name and date of burial).

If she isn't mentioned in William Sawbridge's will, shouldn't her parentage be "uncertain."

Thanks for maintaining this profile! There is another possibility for her death although maybe less likely. Elizabeth Perkins was buried 20 Aug 1813 in Hillmorton but the notation does not say "wife of" or "daughter of" or "spinster" so no telling if it was her. I didn't want to put this in the bio without your review. Original image of the parish register viewable on the internet here https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-6W23-ZPW?i=27&cc=1462403

Sawbridge-28 and Sawbridge-2 appear to represent the same person because: Appear to be same person. Please reconcile and merge if they are both for the same person.
Sawbridge-23 and Sawbridge-2 appear to represent the same person because: Sawbridge-23 appeared to be unconnected but is definitely the same person.
