Biography

Elisabetha Margaretha "Margaret" Schaadt was born in 1811 at Lollbach, Prussia. She was the daughter of Johann Philipp Schaadt.

Margaret Schaadt was married to John Giessler in 1839 at Tuscarawas County, Ohio.^[1]

After their marriage, John and Margaret Geissler settled in Willshire Twp in Ohio, about 9 miles southeast of Decatur, Indiana.^[2] They remained there for many years.^[3][4]

John Giessler and Margaret Schaadt were parents of the following children:

John Giessler^[8]

She passed away in 1891 and is buried in Convoy, OH with her husband, Johannes Giessler.^[9]
