Schryver-59 and Schryver-31 appear to represent the same person because: I stumbled across this duplicate and see that a note was posted suggesting a merge in 2019. Repeated here:

The same person as Schryver-31, but ascribed to different fathers of the same name, as two Johann Pieter Schryvers were born at Rhinebeck in the same decade. The correct parents are Johann Pieter Schryver and Anna Barbara Schaffer (Schever). Regina was born 15 Mar 1760 and baptized 10 Mar 1761. See: New York Births and Christenings, 1640-1962, database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:V2H2-ZYX : 11 February 2018), Regina Schryver, 15 Mar 1760; citing , reference ; FHL microfilm 974.733 R1 V2R.

Hi Tim:

In snooping around my Schryver ancestors and their siblings I also saw this duplicate and then noticed your message from 2019. I have initiated a merge.

Stay tuned and it should happen within a month. If no-one else cleans the merged record, I will do it (assuming I get the notification).

I think that the reason for the confusion in the fathers was that the younger Johann Schryver mistakenly had a superfluous middle name, and was confused with his older brother Johann Peter/Pieter. I'm guessing that he was called Johann without a middle name because his baptismal sponsors were Hannes and Johannes. I fixed that as well.

Take care,

Alan

"the Schryver Line is an Old Dutch family of Dutchess County New York" Actually the Schryvers are German, 1710 Palatine immigrants, originally Schreiber.

Schryver-308 and Schryver-31 appear to represent the same person because: Names are only slightly different. From 308's biography the parents and siblings have already been created and are associated to 31's profile. Dates are different, but are just approximate.

Schryver-282 and Schryver-59 appear to represent the same person because: Same birthdate and husband.
