Biography
Quote: "Ludwig was the first surviving son of the Schumanns. Emil, born in 1846, did not grow older than one year. Ludwig, as a child and young adult, already faced problems in school and other attempts of education. At the age of 20 he came down with mental derangement and spent the rest of his life in the lunatic asylum in Colditz."[1]
