Biography

Anna Barbara Schurtz was born in 1723 (placeholder). She was the daughter of Andreas Schurtz and Catharina Apollonia Stiever.

Jones (1985) cites her 1743 confirmation at St. Peter’s Tarbosch as evidence of her parents and suggests the marriage to Bresie (p. 945).

She married Nicholas Bresie on June 19, 1752 in Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York, United States.

She passed away in about 1808.
