Biography
Rosa Sciavolino was born on October 22, 1852, in Caltavuturo, Palermo, Italy, the daughter of Giuseppa Canciamila and Santi Sciavolino.[1] She married Angelo Prinzavalli and they had two daughters together.[2] After his death in 1879 she then married Gesualdo Modero in 1881 and they had seven children together.[3] They immigrated to the US in 1906 and she died on March 6, 1917, in Hoboken, New Jersey, at the age of 64.[4]
