Name

Name: Ann /Scott/[1]

Ann Scott was Abraham Scott and Margaret (McFarland) Scott's first child. She was born in October 1699, shortly after their arrival in William Penn's religious-tolerant colony of Pennsylvania. Abraham and Margaret were born and married in Hillsborough, County Down, Ulster, Ireland. They were Scottish Covenanters or strong Presbyterians and their ancestors had been transported from Scotland to Ulster, Ireland, by the English monarchy, both to remove "troublemakers" from Scotland and to maintain English law and order over the mainly-Roman Catholic Irish. James Patterson Sr. can't possibly be a child of Ann & Arthur as his dob is 12 years prior to their wedding, less than 10 years after Ann's dob and has a birth location in Ireland. Please disconnect him.

Ann's dob can't be correct, as it's less than 5-10 after her parent's dob, but she also is listed as the mother of John Patterson who is nearly the same age as her father...
