Biography

from FAG: A Civil War veteran, he enlisted in Gettysburg June 16, 1863, mustered into federal service there June 23 as a private with Co. B, 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry (182nd PA), and honorably discharged with his company February 20, 1864. He also was drafted and mustered into federal service at Chambersburg February 27, 1865, as a private with Co. E, 99th Pennsylvania Infantry, and honorably discharged with his company July 1, 1865.
