Biography

Abijah was born in 1788. Abijah Seeley ... ^[1]

There appear to have been other Abijah Seeleys living in Connecticut during the 18th century. I imagine that there is probably some familial relation but I couldn't say what.

My highly speculative best guess is that he is perhaps the descendant of a Loyalist during the Revolutionary War who left for Canada.
