Biography

Philomena Seidenstricker was born in February 1870 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylania. She was the fourth child born to Charles J. Seidenstricker, Sr. (Saturday, August 5, 1843 - Saturday, November 17, 1917) and Philomena Schauer (1847 - Tuesday, June 25, 1895). Philomena died later the same year in infancy. She was the first of three of their eleven children to die as a young child. A sister born shortly after her death was also named Philomena.
