Frank Paul Seidenstricker was born in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, July 4, 1877. He was the ninth of eleven children born to Charles J. Seidenstricker, Sr. (Saturday, August 5, 1843 - Saturday, November 17, 1917) and Philomena Schauer (1847 - Tuesday, June 25, 1895). He died Wednesday, January 5, 1966 in Pittsburgh. (Sidie) Seidenstricker, veteran employee of The Press' circulation department who remained active despite advanced years, will be sung at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Mary's Church on North Side. Mr. Seidenstricker, 88, of 110 Heather Drive, Bethel Park, died Wednesday in St. John's Hospital. Joining The Press in 1930, he spent six years as a circulation solicitor before moving to the promotion department where he helped organize The Press' Seck Hawkins Boys and Girls Club. In 1937 he was dispatched to Columbus, Ohio, to organize a Seck Hawkins chapter for that city's Scripps-Howard newspaper. Returning to the circulation department in 1940, he concentrated on customer solicitation until recent years when he divided his time between that and promotion work with the carrier boys. He organized and accompanied the boys on various promotional trips. Friends are being received at the Clarence Pappert Funeral Home, 2705 East Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's church cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
