Mary Estelle Stewart (April 20, 1928 - January 18, 2015)
Mary Estelle Stewart, 86, of Mize, MS passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, Jan 18, 2015 of natural causes. She had been living in Brakebill Nursing Home (Westmoreland now) since Jan 2012.
She was the daughter of John A. Sellers and Mary Angeline Sellers and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alex Stewart; brothers - Edward Sellers, Clifton, Oliver, Douglas, Hubbard, Talbert, Sylvester; Sister - Beatrice Mabry; and nephew - (Little) Michael Hatcher.
She is survived by her only child, Larry Stewart and his wife, Leslie. and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to curealz.org in her memory to help fund finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Visitation will be Friday, Jan 23 from 5-8 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS 39111. Funeral services will be held Sat. Jan. 24th at 1 PM at Colonial Chapel with internment following at Rose Hill Cemetery, SCR 64, Mize, MS 39116.[10]
