Biography

Herman Lyman Seavey was born on 18 April 1846. He is the son of James Sevey and Julia Bedell.

In 1950 he was 3 and living with his parents and siblings in Maine. [1]

In 1860 he was 13 and living with his parents and siblings in Maine. [2]

He married Deborah L. Cates on 26 June 1866[3].[4]

Herman passed away on 26 July 1935 and is buried in Seaview Cemetery in Rockland, Maine[5].

Seavey-263 and Sevey-19 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles are for the same person. Note that Heman Seavey's name was spelled "Sevey" in the 1860 census. Five other sources say it's "Seavey." The 1900 census says he was born in April 1847.
