United States Census, 1880

June 8, 1880 - Scuffletown, Laurens County, South Carolina

Jeff ? Sexton was enumerated as head of the household in Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina for the June 13, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born February 1861 in South Carolina. He had been married seventeen years and was an owner as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Louisa M Sexton, son S Boyd Sexton, daughter Ida L Sexton, daughter Willie M Sexton and mother Sarrah M Sexton.[1]

Jeff D Sexton was enumerated as head of the household at 521 Watts Avenue, Laurens Ward 2, Laurens County, South Carolina for the April 21, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1861 in South Carolina and had been married twenty-seven years. He was a carpenter (houses) and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Lida M Sexton, daughter Willie Sexton and boarder (mother) Matildin Sexton.[2]

J. D. Sexton was listed as the father of Ida Lucinda Sexton Chaney who died December 25, 1922 in Scuffletown, Laurens County, South Carolina. The mother was listed as Louisa Taylor as seen in an image of the original death certificate.[3]
