Catherine Garrett was born on 10 October 1768 in Orange, North Carolina, the daughter of Henry Garrett and Sarah Starling.
Catherine married Sebastian Boston Sharp and they had seven children:

Sarah Betsy Sharp - 1805-1846, m. Isley
Isaac Sharp - b. 1808
Mary Polly Sharp - 1809-1841, m. Nicholson
Benjamin Sharp - b. 1813
Catherine died on 26 July 1849 in Orange, North Carolina and was buried in Stoner’s Cemetery, Burlington, Alamance, North Carolina. [1] Catherine, widow of Sebastian (Boston) Sharp. Born 10 Oct. 1768. Died 26 July 1849. Aged 80 years, 9 months and 16 days. An aged member of Stoners. The old are passing away. Sermon Rev. 14:13[2]
