Biography
Catherine Garrett was born on 10 October 1768 in Orange, North Carolina, the daughter of Henry Garrett and Sarah Starling.
Catherine married Sebastian Boston Sharp and they had seven children:
- Daniel Sharp - b. 1784
- William Graves Sharp Sr. - 1794-1862
- Eli Sharp - 1800-1882
- Sarah Betsy Sharp - 1805-1846, m. Isley
- Isaac Sharp - b. 1808
- Mary Polly Sharp - 1809-1841, m. Nicholson
- Benjamin Sharp - b. 1813
Catherine died on 26 July 1849 in Orange, North Carolina and was buried in Stoner’s Cemetery, Burlington, Alamance, North Carolina. [1] Catherine, widow of Sebastian (Boston) Sharp. Born 10 Oct. 1768. Died 26 July 1849. Aged 80 years, 9 months and 16 days. An aged member of Stoners. The old are passing away. Sermon Rev. 14:13[2]
