John married Catherine Berrell (~1821 - 1859) on 20 Jul 1854 in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia.[2]

  2. Samuel Barnett Sharwood (1857 - 1929)
  3. William Sharwood (1859 - 1860).

John married Charlotte (Booth) Sharwood (1836-1916) on 7 Nov 1861 in St Saviours Church, Goulburn.[3]
