Biography

Thomas Shelton was born on November 9, 1709 in Middlesex County, Virginia to Ralph and Mary Shelton .  He married Mary Probert about 1729 in Middlesex County, Virginia.  They had at least five children:  Reuben, Josiah, Mary, Thomas, and Micajah.  Reuben was born on May 16, 1733 in Virginia.  Josiah was born in 1735 in Virginia.  Mary was born on February 21, 1837 in Virginia.  She died on August 5, 1742 in Virginia at age 5.  Thomas was born on May 2, 1740 in Virginia.  Micajah was born on June 20, 1742 in Virginia.  Thomas died on March 24, 1741 in Virginia at age 33.  Mary died in 1742.
