Elizabeth Shepard Sackett was born on 14 February, 1712. Her father was John Shepard of Westfield, Massachusetts. Her mother's name was Elizabeth Woodruff Shepard.[1]
Elizabeth's second great grandfather was a sea captain in Boston and had emigrated to America from England. His application to be registered as a freeman is dated May 10, 1643; in Massachusetts.[2] In time, the family had migrated west to the settlement of Westfield, Massachusetts.
The town of Westfield, Massachusetts, at the time of Elizabeth's birth, was Massachusetts Colony's westernmost settlement. The Westfield River flowed through the center of Ann's hometown.[3] Elizabeth and her family were British subjects under King William III. During her lifetime, Elizabeth surely witnessed many conflicts with the Indians.[4]
On December 18, 1735, Elizabeth married Isaac Sackett (b.14 Feb 1703).[5] Isaac's Sackett family were early settlers of Westfield, Massachusetts.[6]
Issac Sackett was the son of John Sackett and Mahitable Danks Harris Sackett. Isaac[7] and Elizabeth had six children:[8]
Lydia Saket, b. Dec 18, 1736; married King Sacket.
Ezekiel Sacket, b. Sep 12, 1738; married Anne Granger.
Mahitable Sacket, b. May 7, 1741.
David Sacket, b. Aug. 19, 1743; marrried Lucretia Shepard on April 23, 1773, in Westfield, Massachusetts.[9]
Adnah Sacket, b. Dec 5, 1745, d. Apr. 8, 1813; married Jerusha Pomeroy.[10]
Zavan Sacket Sr., b. Apr. 28, 1751; married Abigail Bills on February 10, 1779 in Southampton, Massachusetts.[11]
Elizabeth Shepard Sacket (Sackett) passed away on April 23, 1785 in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.

Susannah Shepard, sen'r, died 1698. Her daughter, Susannah married John Pratt. John Shepard, son of John, Jr., was born in November of 1681. John had a brother named Samuel, b. 1682. John's sister, Hannah, was born in 1684, his brother, Joseph b. in 1688; Timothy, died in 1716 and Rebecca died in 1706; et al.[13]
