Hi Paul

Thanks for the help! You created some profiles for the King and Small family that were connected to the Sawkins-120 branch I have been trying to connect. Because of that, I managed to find a connection a lot quicker.

The profile manager who is also descendant of that profile has been unconnected for over a year since joining Wiki Tree.

Hi Paul,

I wrote to you recently as part of the England Project's six-monthly check-in with our project members. I have not heard back from you. I hope you are well.

If you could please drop me a quick note to confirm whether you are still interested in the project and wish to remain an active member, that would be very helpful.

If we do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks, we will assume you are no longer active in the England Project and remove you from our list of project members. You would be most welcome to re-apply to join the project at a later time by signing-up on the project’s G2G welcome post.

Hi Paul,

It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around

First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?

Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Lizzie, Amy, Joan

England Project Leaders

Good morning esteemed leaders.

You're so right that our lives are changing and with elderly parents, my wife and I do have a few other considerations too, but I guess we just have to go with the flow.

I did once think when I had completed, best as possible, my own family tree my work on profiles would slow down. How silly of me. I do try to spread my self a bit thin over the many angles of Wiki that come my way. I do my best with the Essex team and DD help too. Having said that, my favourite jobs are sourcing and profile creation particularly on tree growth / connection.

I do dip into the Discord and Google Group and green help from both but as time is often short I don’t spend too much time there.

As a Trail Blazer I occasionally have a question but feel a bit silly asking as I should know the answers myself. like who should I turn to for help myself?

That aside, I am still a WikiTree addict,

Paul

We could be related. Do you have any family from Marcola, Oregon or Rainer, Oregon? I have a source that I am going to contact when I get the time who is writing about the history of Marcola and knows information about Fred shepard, who was my great-great grandfather. I can't find anything on my great-grandmother's side, not even her mother. The living family members related to her say her life seemed like it was a big secret and nobody talked about it. Her name was Blanche Roselia Shepard. P.S. I hope this was the appropriate way to respond to your comment. I'm new to WikiTree.
