Biography

Henry Shepherd lived in Appalachia, in North Carolina.

Henry was born in 1844. He was the son of Thomas Shepherd and Narcissa Welch. He passed away in 1910. Henry's wife, Rhoda, applied for a pension from the US government in 1911, based on Henry's service in the Union Army during the War Between the States.
