The estate distribution was set out to his widow Mary, Burr Sherwood, Abel Sherwood, Rana, wife of Nehemiah B. Alvord, and Marietta Sherwood (granddaughter).^[3]

In 1854, his estate set out to his widow was distributed to Burr Sherwood, Abel Sherwood, Rana, wife of Nehemiah B. Alvord, and Marietta Frost, wife of D.D. Frost (granddaughter).^[4]
