Edward Shipman was born about 1734 Chester, New London Co., Connecticut[1]He died 19 December 1804 Chester, New London Co., Connecticut[2]and was buried at Old Town House Hill Cemetery, Chester, Connecticut. Edward was a Revolutionary War Patriot: Colonel, First Battlation, Connecticut State Militia. Edward married Joanna Dimock 1760 Chester, CT.[3]
