This CANNOT be the Will of Joseph Shipp born 1712 in Va. Because:
His son Joseph Jr. is listed in the will dated 1821 but Joseph Jr died in 1812.
If Joseph Sr born 1712 lived to 1821, he would have been 109 years old when he passed.
Joseph Jr in 1850 Census in Rutherford County Tenn was born in 1825.

In the name of God Amen I Joseph Ship of County of Rutherford and State of Tennessee being in a weak state of health but having my perfect reason, Desire to dispose of my Worldly Goods and (Chattle….) an follow (………) I will and Bequeath that my Body be Buryed in a Christian manner. I likewise will and bequeath to my eldest son Joseph Ship two dollars to be raised out of my personal property. I will to my eldest Daughter Mary Ship too Dollars to be raised out of my personal property. I bequeath to my son Elijah Ship two dollars to be raised out of my Estate. I will and bequeath to my son Lewis Ship one hundred dollars to be raised out of the plantation by my son James Ship. I will and to my Daughter Lynda Johnston one Mare Colt (li……..) Likewise James Ship to pay Linda Johnston forty dollars I will and bequeath to my son Lewis Ship my bay Mare. I likewise will and bequeath to (Barberry…… Ruffi….) one feather bed, one (red …) cow known by the name of the (well…) cow. Dates or connection cannot be right. Joseph Shipp Sr. Died in 1753 and Joseph Shipp Jr was born in 1767.
