Sergeant Johannes Shurter served with New York during the American Revolution.

Johannes Shurter is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A205757.

Johannis was the son of Frederick Shurter and Johanna Alliger. He was baptized at Marbletown on Oct. 17 1755, and witnesses were another Johannes Casparus Shurter and Elizabeth Meyer.[1]

Johannes Casparus Shurter, served in the Revolutionary War. He was a sergeant in the Albert Pawling regiment. [2]
