Biography

Stephen Siegfried (1822-1900) married Mary Spengler (1823-1901). I do not know her parents. Stephen and Mary must have lived in the Kreidersville, Northampton County, PA area because they are both buried at Zion Stone Church , Kreidersville, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, in that place and their son Abraham was confirmed in this church on 28 Mar 1875 (You can see a write-up and a picture of this church at www.dreisbachfamily.org/zion.html <http://www.dreisbachfamily.org/zion.html> ). I have no other information on thisAbraham. Could be because he moved to OHIO. I don't know how I missed his Baptism if it's in the Stone Church records (Have a phone message on their answering machine requesting the Baptismal date).I see you have his birth date as 6 Dec1858 and his Baptismal date as 8 May 1859. Did you get this from Stone Church records? I have seventeen Siegfrieds who are buried at Woodlawn, but not your Abraham. Not to worry, Dennis at Woodlawn confirmed he's buried there next to Elizabeth on the Pennepacker plot. Per Leon Borst by e-mail on 3/4/04.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Stephen by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Stephen:
