The Will of George Simpson was dated October 14, 1782 and probated November 18, 1782. This transcription was made by Grant Pinnix:
This fourteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord God one thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty two, I, George Simpson, of the County of Fairfax, being very sick and week in body but of perfect mind and memory... do make and ordain this my last will and testament.
First of all I give and bequeath unto my loving wife, SUSANNA SIMPSON during her life the plantation I now live on which formerly was bought of JOHN PARSONS with the use of four slaves (viz) CATRAL, BESS, that is now living at home, JEREMIAH, JEBBOCK, and two horses, JACK and BONNY, and the choice of three of my cows, six sheep and nine hogs, two feather beds and furniture, two pots and two pair of pot hooks, and one frying pan, half a dozen pewter plates and two dishes and one half dozen spoons, one half dozen knives and forks and after her decease my son, RICHARD SIMPSON, to come in for the land.
Item... I give to my son WILLIAM SIMPSON one hundred acres of land where he now lives to him and his heirs.
Item... I give to my son AARON SIMPSON the remainder of that tract to him and his heirs.
Item... I give to my son GEORGE SIMPSON and my son JAMES SIMPSON two hundred and fifty six acres whereon I formerly lived lying on the OX ROAD to be equally divided between them, my son James to have the upper end whereon LANCELOT BECK now lives to them and their heirs.
Item... I give to my son JOSEPH SIMPSON that tract of land known by the name of HAMBLETONE to him and his heirs.
Item... I give to my son Richard Simpsonone slave named DANIEL and one orphan boy named JOHN DILLEN.
Item... I give to my son William Simpson one slave named WOLF RUN BESS and her increase to him and his heirs.
Item... I give to my son Aaron Simpson one slave named SARAH and her increase to him and his heirs.
Item... I give to my son George Simpson one slave named SAMPSON, one feather bed and furniture, one horse and bridle and for him to act for himself.
Item... I give to my son James Simpson two slaves named JOHN and SOLLEMAN, one feather bed and furniture, one horse saddle and bridle and he to tarry two years with his mother and then to act for himself.
Item... I give to my son Joseph one slave named JESS, one feather bed and furniture, one horse saddle and bridle and he to be remained with his mother till of age.
Item... I give to my daughter Mary Simpson one slave named ROSE and her increase to her heirs.
Item... and for my daughter that has married off and left me I have given them their equal part in proportion to the rest of my other children and after my debts is paid that the balance of what my stock and household furniture to be sold and equally divided.
Item... and for my plantation that lies on WOLF RUN,
I leave to be sold and the money to be divided between four younger children and after my beloved wife's decease the whole of her part to be equally divided among the whole of my children and I do hereby constitute and ordain my
Brother Moses Simpson, Richard Simpson my son and Aaron Simpson my soul executors of this my last will and testament and I do hereby disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other testament, wills and legacies, requests and... by me in any ways before this time named. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed, Sealed, Published and Declared by me the said George Simpson as his last will and testament in presents of us the subscribers.

All of the family trees indicate that George is the son of Richard Simpson, Sr. and his wife, Sarah (?nee? Barker. And the three sites appear to agree on the fact that George died November 18, 1782, in Fairfax county, Virginia. George wrote his Will on October 4, 1782 and it was probated November 18, 1782: "Wife: Susan. Children: William, Aaron, George, James, Joseph, Richard and Mary. (Mention is made of 4 younger children, uncertain whether they are included in above list.) Exrs: Moses R. Simpson (brother) and Aaron Simpson (son). Wit: Richard Wheeler, John Simpson and James Aldridge."
In 1744, George married Susannah Wheeler. Her Find A Grave memorial states:
