Biography

William Monette Sims: Funeral services for William Monette Sims, 95 of Jemison, will be held Saturday, April 19, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Rocko Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo with Rev. Earl Sims and Rev. Calvin Crocker officiating. Burial will follow at Montevallo Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held Friday, April 18, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. at Rocko Funeral Home.

Survivors include his daughters, Nancy Williams of West Blocton and Vonceil Jones of Bakersfield, Calif.; son William C. (Betty) Sims of Jemison; sisters Maggie O. Dennis of Wilsonville and Mattie Eddings of Brierfield; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren
