William Skuse was born in Waverly Township, Cheboygan, Michigan; September 5, 1902 to Floyd Skuse and Lovina (Walters) Skuse. [1]

He married Leila Dunn November 12, 1923; in Onaway, Presque Isle, Michigan.[2]
In 1930, they were living in the home of his mother.[3]
