Isham Smith, son of William Smith and brother of Cuthbert, married Patience, daughter of Mary (Purcell) and Newitt Drew. He [Isham] died in Sussex in 1795. His wife's will was probated in 1800. In the census of 1782, he is shown with 12 persons in his household. Children: Williamson, b. August 3, 1762; Priscilla; Elizabeth, m. Nicholason [sic]; Mary; Ann, m. John Loftin; Frances."
