Research Notes

Not sure if this John S. Smith is an actual child of this particular William and Mary Jane. The birthplaces of the parents seem on-par with the other birth records of confirmed siblings. However, this John was born in Bay City, not Imlay.

This John does not appear in the 1894 Michigan state census with the other confirmed family members, suggesting he may have died early or may not be part of this family unit.
